The Popularity Of Star Wars

As shown through the table star wars was and still is very popular to this day even 40 years later. The reason that it was so popular in the beggining is becuase the idead of sci-fi was very real and popular during the 70s. This was because of all the new technology coming out during this time. The first man to land on the moon only happened 8 years prior to the release of the first film as well. Many people were into the idea of anything to do with space at this time. The reason it stayed popular as well as is because of the fact it is just a very unique series. There were not many other movies like this at the time and even though there might be some similar movies now none will reallly ever compare to this.
